How to setup the daily prospect report
Daily prospect reports are set up individually for each user. To add the daily report for a user, click on the Pardot Settings from the menu.
Next select User Management from the side menu
Under the drop down options that are available choose Users. Then click on the name of the specific user that you want to add the daily prospect report to.
Once you have selected your user, then click on the Edit preferences button at the top right of the screen.
Now you can select the types of reports that you want that user to receive. At the top of the list of options is Send daily prospects activity emails (for my prospects). Check this box.
You also have the option to Exclude prospects with tags. This is a useful way to exclude prospects that may have already converted into a sale. For these prospects you could create a tag such as closed. When a sale closes, then you can tag these prospects with the tag. This will prevent them from being featured in the daily report.
Generally you will only want to send a daily prospect report for that user’s assigned prospects. However other types of users, such as marketing, may want a broader overview. In this case you can select the option Send daily prospect activity emails (for all prospects).
Lastly click on the blue Save user preferences button.
The daily prospect for that use has now been set up. The user will automatically receive their daily report via email each day.
