How to edit an email signature in Pardot


An email signature is a vital component of professional communication, as it provides essential information about the sender and promotes brand consistency. Pardot enables users to create and edit email signatures with ease. This article will guide you through the process of editing an email signature in Pardot, including adding your company logo and formatting your signature to suit your brand’s style.

Accessing Pardot Settings

To start editing your email signatures select Pardot Settings from the top level menu.

Navigating to User Management

From the menu click on the User Management. Then from the submenu select Users.

Selecting a User for Signature Editing

Select the user whose signature you want to edit. Then click on the Edit user button.

Editing the HTML Version of the Signature

Start by editing the HTML version of your email signature. Pardot provides a text editor which allows you to style the font and link your signature to other websites. You can include merge fields in your signature using the HTML editor.

Adding a Company Logo

Many signatures will include the company logo. To add your company logo select the picture icon.

Uploading a Logo Image

Once you have clicked on the icon you will be able to upload an image of your logo. Select the Upload tab and the + Upload Files button.

Aligning the Logo in the Signature

Once you have uploaded your logo image, you can align it to the left of your signature details by amending the Alignment. 

Finalizing Logo Placement

Once you are happy with how your logo is being placed in your signature click on the green OK button.

Creating a Text Version of the Email Signature

In addition to your HTML version of your signature you can also create a text version of your email. 

Saving the Updated Signature

Once you have uploaded your signature click on the blue Save user button.
