Pardot Page Actions offer an efficient method for automatically monitoring visitor activity on your website, enabling you to modify lead scores or segmentation statuses based on user behavior. For instance, consider a scenario where your website features a landing page for a new product release. By tracking visitors who view this page, you can adjust their lead scores accordingly. Implementing a Pardot Page Action allows you to elevate the lead score of visitors who engage with the specific landing page by a predetermined amount.
This approach is instrumental in pinpointing leads that demonstrate heightened engagement and interest in your offerings, thereby enabling you to concentrate your follow-up initiatives on those with the highest conversion potential. Setting up a Pardot Page Action is both uncomplicated and efficient, involving the following steps:
Navigating to Page Actions
Click on the Automations tab on the top menu.
From the side menu select Page Actions
Creating a New Page Action
To create a new page action click on the blue + Add Page Action button.
Configuring Your Page Action
Now set up your page action by first choosing a name. Then add the URL of the page where you want the page action to take effect.
Adding Completion Actions
The final step is to add in the Completion Actions. Completion actions are what you want to have happen to the prospect when they arrive on the designated page. You can have multiple different completion actions for a single page action.
Saving and Activating Page Action
When you have finished adding your completion actions click on the blue Create page action button and the page action is now set up.
That’s it! Now all the visitors who visit that page you specified will be tracked accordingly and their lead score will be updated.
